SHINJU - Japanese Whisky
Shinju, meaning “Pearl”, was born from the slopes of the great Mt. Fuji, Japan’s highest and most sacred mountain.
The ancient Japanese believed that pearls were created from the tears of Angels; ‘born of the water’.
Mt. Fuji's pristine alpine water is used to create Shinju, giving it a unique smoothness.
Double distilled, with wafts of honey, orange and vanilla, accompanied by hints of herbaceous notes and light oak.
Vanillas complex flavour offers sweet, caramel tones, light floral notes and hints of Jasmine.
Oak can display a spectrum of woody flavours, from hints of Cinnamon and Leather to Dark Fudge and Raisin.
Good honey has layers of flavour. Expresses floral, grassy, fruity and woody notes.
Orange is known for its contrasting flavour, adding sparks of sweet yet tart citrus tones.
